An Introduction to My Site
"There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." Ernest Hemingway
Ernest Hemingway said it best and that is why I use his quote above, often. When I write I bleed...vulnerability. Shedding and baring layers of my thoughts, now no longer hidden inside.
A precocious twelve-year-old girl kept all her thoughts and stories in a diary under lock and key, loving words as she wrote them all down. Yes, that little girl was me.
I kept a daily journal/diary, wrote short stories, camp and school newsletters, even wrote a children's book as a project from start to finish. I had no specific genre to focus on at that age until I discovered the poetry of Rod McKuen where I felt my writing style fit. I have yet to look back.

My prose, poetry and words are posted on so many blogs online. I decided to make my own domain have a different feel to it, to chronicle my journey of ups and downs as my goal is to self-publish my blogs to books. Also this site will be my sanctuary, as I continue writing and journaling whatever comes to mind as I go along my path.
~ My true purpose and reasons for creating my domain is to improve my craft, share blogs, and most of all ...learn as I go ~

I take trust very seriously and leaving an email address on an online site requires trust. . This request is to be able to send a notice when my book will be launching, a catching up of sorts on how things are going from time to time and what's coming next... Also it's a way we can share stories privately if you'd like to contact me back without it being on the site itself. I will share when my current projects will be finished, When new project ideas come to mind to share and hear what you think as well as when my books come out virtually or on a bookstore shelf. I will admit that I have done this once before on a different website platform and the emails/contact list were erased due to technical difficulties with the theme.
